Meffan Institute Collection

I was absolutely delighted to receive the Angus Alive purchase prize at the Meffan Winter Show 2022, which means this pair of sculptural vessels, above, from the Inside Outside collection are now in the Meffan Institute permanent collection.

These vessels in white porcelain with black glaze have their inlaid decoration in different colours representing skin tones to explore the perception of being an insider or an outsider in our society based on colour and ethnic origin.
